Recently I picked up a couple of pair of "TRUE VINTAGE" gym shorts.  These shorts were very popular back in the 1940s to 1950s era.  They were used as UNIFORM shorts during gym class, team SPORTS like Wrestling, Basketball and Boxing.  Both of these shorts are from the same original owner, so they both measure about the same....see below for measurements.  They are very old and do have some soiling here and there and some wear on the fabric, which is very consistent with age.   They are all in very good vintage condition.
I have included lots of photos of the item, so PLEASE review all of the photos.  PICTURES are the BEST part of the description of any item that you are purchasing on the internet, that is the reason I try to provide so many.  This will allow you to make an informed decision prior to purchase!

Waistline has a BELT with a Metal buckle which is adjustable
Shorts have a "BUTTON FLY"
The inside of the shorts have a COTTON QUILTED flap that is sewn into both sides of the hips (see pictures)
Measures approx. 15.5" waistline laying flat side to side
Measures approx. 12.0" rise measured at center gusset up center front seam to top of waistline
Measures approx. 2.25" inside inseam at center gusset down inside seam to bottom of leg opening
Measures approx. 11.0" outside side seam measured from the side waistline to bottom of leg opening
Measures approx. 11.25" leg opening measured laying flat side to side
**If you are planning on wearing....PLEASE compare the measurements provided above with something that you currently own that fits to insure a proper fit once the item is delivered**

Payment must be recieved via Paypal within (7) days of auction's ending, or the winning bidder will be considered "late" in making payment. As recommended by the NEW Ebay policy, on the (4)th day, if payment has not yet been received, an unpaid item claim with Ebay will be filed; although, you still have the FULL (7) days to make payment. Returns will only be accepted if there has been an oversight by myself in the items description or measurements due to human error. All of the measurements are given and must be checked by the potential buyer and compared to something you currently own that fits you, if this is not done, this is NOT an acceptable reason for return and the return will NOT be accepted. Contact must be made by the buyer within (3) days of receipt of the item and must be mailed back by day (7) in the original condition and box from which it was received. Customer satisfaction is a priority and will be met if all is followed.
