This is a band saw blade brazing kit (called "Sure-Splice") from JK Woodcraft. The item is new in the box/never used. It is a kit for making new blades from coil stock or repairing broken blades. The process is easier than using a conventional blade welder because there is no annealing required after the blade is joined. All you need to make durable, long-lasting splices is a propane torch and a file or grinder. Sure-Splice is adjustable for joining any blade from 1/16” to 1 1/2” in width. Works on wood or metal-cutting blades. Kit comes complete with solder/flux for 30 blades (1/4" x 7.5" x .003") and complete instructions. Solder is high-strength silver solder. Melting temperature is
    1305 F.
    Made in USA.

I have only used the product once, but it performed exactly as advertised. So far, so good.
The product performed exactly as advertised. The directions were easy to follow and very specific. The resultant product (i.e. a bandsaw blade loop) performed exactly as it was expected to perform.

    Works OK
This is cheaply made, as you can tell in the photos, but it works. It's a bit "fiddly" but it will make strong blades if you take your time. Pretty expensive for what you get, but it's pretty much the only game in town and it's too much hassle to build your own I figure. The quality could be better, but it's not really necessary unless you're going to be making up a lot of blades. I made up 8 blades from my 100' coil and they all work, but it was more time consuming than I would have liked just because the clamps are not very sophisticated and tend to have too much play to make clamping easy..
