◦ Please note, NAVIGATION button is just a shortcut button to access maps,
if the brain/headunit has Navigation
, the maps will work in both displays APP or NAV. The NAV button goes directly to maps , while APP you will have to select maps through MENU
◦ Bezel (Piano Black / Gloss black)
Plug and Play: Golf 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 (IMPORTANT: the vehicle must have the memory card entry inside the glove compartment otherwise it won't be plug and play, so please kindly check this before purchasing!!
ATENTION:
the item is not compatible with basic model, Golf S model (the one with no headunit in the glovebox)
ATENTION:
Golf 2015, 2014 are not plug ang play
, you will need to change the headunit (in the glovebox), cables and so on, please send me a message if any doubt
Note (updated): App button is confirmed to function with 2017 North American vehicles equipped with MIB2 Nav or Non-Nav and leads to App Connect/Carplay/Android Auto Splash Screen. Button does not work on 2016 models.
The display works for left hand drive (such as UK countries), but I don't have the bezel in this case.
